TENUGUIてぬぐい
ゆかたも手拭も奈良時代から使われ、江戸時代に湯屋（お風呂や）が全国に広まるとともに庶民の日用品になりました。
手拭は、顔や手を拭くだけでなく、ヘアバンドやスカーフなどおしゃれアイテムとしても使われています。Both yukata and tenugui have been used since the Nara period. They became everyday items for common people during the Edo period, as bathhouses (yuya) spread across the country.
Tenugui are not only used to wipe the face and hands but also serve as fashionable accessories, such as headbands and scarves. -

PARASOL日傘
浪華本染め日傘は、熟練の染色職人と傘職人がコラボして作った日傘です。染色から傘製作まで手作りの日傘になります。素材が木綿ですので風通しも良く、日傘としての機能も検査しています。
The parasol dyed with Naniwa Honzome is crafted through a collaboration between skilled dyeing artisans and umbrella artisans. From dyeing to umbrella craftsmanship, each parasol is handmade. The parasol's functionality is carefully tested, and thanks to its cotton material, it allows good airflow while also providing effective sun protection.

FLOW注染の工程
注染は糊置きという工程が重要です。生地を折り畳みながら防染糊を置いていきます。そうすると生地に置いた防染糊が次の生地の裏側にもつきます。折畳んだ生地の両面に防染糊がついているので一度に３０枚以上の手拭いを染めることができるのです。

The process called "Norioki" (which means "resist paste application") is an important part of this dyeing technique. While folding the fabric, resist paste is applied. The resist paste then transfers to the reverse side of the next layer of fabric. With the resist paste on both sides of the folded fabric, more than 30 hand towels can be dyed at once. PASTE APPLICATION糊置き
柄の中で染料をつけたくないところに糊をのせます。柄に合わせて糊付けを繰り返す折り返しには相当の熟練が必要です。
Resist paste is placed on the part where dye is not wanted. A high level of skill is required to repeatedly apply the resist paste and fold the fabric according to the pattern.

DYEING BY POURING注ぎ染め
染料を注ぐ部分に土手を作り、土手の内側に染料を十分に注ぎ込んで染めます。表からも裏からも染めるのが特徴です。
A bank is made in the area where the dye is poured, and the dye is poured fully inside the bank. It is characterized by dyeing from both the front and the back.

染め終わった生地についた余分な糊と染料を水で洗い流します。

DRYING干す
水洗いの終わった生地を天日乾燥で立て干しします。染め上げられた生地がいくつも干されている様は壮観です。
Hanging the washed fabric upright to dry under the sun. The view of many dyed fabrics hanging to dry is magnificent.
